Cognisant of the fact that we all need to be on our toes and update our resumes regularly, Women in Rail Malaysia partnered with The Global Student (TGS) on 6th July 2021 to organise a virtual lunch talk entitled Boost Your Resume the Right Way for our members and also for students from TGS.
Jan Drew, founder of TGS, shared some interesting insights on how to craft a killer resume and highlighted the importance of leveraging on professional networking platforms like LinkedIn to grow our business network.
TGS is an established student mobility expert, providing internships for students across South East Asia and is based in Kuala Lumpur. This partnership in organising the talk was timely given the fact that the Malaysian rail scene is undergoing enormous change and members of Women in Rail Malaysia need to be nimble and well prepared to be able to explore all new career opportunities that come their way.
