In the spirit of Syawal, Women in Rail Malaysia welcomed sponsors, partners and members to its Aidilfitri Open House at Bungalow 289, Jalan Raja Chulan.
Held on 6 April, the gathering brought together close to 100 guests who have been part of the Women in Rail Malaysia journey over the years. It was a chance to reconnect, reflect and celebrate the relationships that continue to shape the community.
Senior industry leaders were present and there was a good mix with young and upcoming leaders in the Malaysian rail space. Given that Women in Rail Malaysia is all-inclusive and accepts male members too, it was heartening to see everyone gather together.
The afternoon was not just about celebration, but about connection. Conversations flowed easily across the room, bringing together different generations and experiences within the industry. It reflected what Women in Rail Malaysia stands for – creating a space where people come together, support one another and continue to grow.
More than anything, it was a reminder that the strength of this industry lies in its people. The willingness to share, to support, and to build something meaningful together.
